Osler is renewing its facilities to meet the growing needs of our community and ensure staff and patients have a safe and modern environment to work in and receive care.
At Etobicoke General Hospital, we have finished several renovation projects to address our most critical space issues and maintain the safety of staff, physicians and patients. Over the longer term we are planning a large-scale redevelopment of the hospital that will include new buildings as well as renovations to existing spaces.
At Peel Memorial, plans move ahead with the government's commitment to its redevelopment. The site of the hospital is a zone of rubble as the buildings are demolished to make room for the new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness. The new Peel Memorial will offer a range of outpatient services including urgent care and leading-edge day surgeries, preventative care for chronic conditions like diabetes and asthma, diagnostic imaging services, and community learning programs.
Osler is committed to renewing our facilities to accommodate the needs of our growing and diverse communities. With continuing expansion at Brampton Civic Hospital spaces and redevelopment projects now underway at both Etobicoke General Hospital and Peel Memorial, Osler is poised for significant growth and renewal over the next few years to keep pace with the need for modern, state-of-the-art facilities for the delivery of safe and compassionate care.
